Prayer 2: Prayer is About God's Glory!
Lord, everything You do is for Your glory. Likewise, I want everything I do, including prayer, to be for Your glory. The Bible teaches me to be dependent upon You through prayer and never stop knocking and asking. You tell me I have not because I ask not. Help me to grow in these truths so You are exalted. It is true that Your main plan for our lives is not to make things easier or more comfortable, but to save us from sin, temptation and evil. When that happens, You are magnified and that’s what matters most. I will pray with great confidence for the nations, knowing that this will bring You glory.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
