Also, and this part is fun, your readers can hover their mouse over the link to view a popup of the contents of that verse.

Installing VerseLink on Blogger

Although we've designed VerseLink functionality to be as simple as possible-simply inserting a snippet of code near the bottom of the "<head>" section of your Blogger template-some basic proficiency with Blogger is recommended. If you are uncertain of your abilities, please ask a friend to help you.

Add VerseLink code to your header
1. Login to your Blogger account
2. Dashboard: Middle Right: Select Design
3. Design Tab: Select Edit HTML
4. Important! Copy the contents of your working template file from the large content box, and save them to a text file in a safe location (as a backup).
5. Copy the following code to your clipboard: <script type="text/javascript">var verselink_version_to_use = 'cev' // or asv, amp, cev, dra, esv, gnt, gntd, gwt, hcsb, kjv, msg, nasb, ncv, net, and niv </script><script type="text/javascript" src="http://ext.youversion.com/js/short_url/verselink.min.js"></script>
6. Paste the code as a new line above the end of your HTML "head" section ()
7. Once you've inserted the code, click the [SAVE TEMPLATE] button

If you already have pages with Bible verse references
1. Open a new browser tab or window
2. New tab or window: Open the URL where your Blogger blog resides
3. Navigate to a page you know has a Bible reference
4. Hover the cursor over an existing Bible reference Note: If VerseLink isn't working, or if your site seems broken:
5. Return to your template under Design, Edit HTML
6. Replace your template's contents with the backup you made
7. Save your repaired template
8. Test your site again
If you don't have any pages with Bible verse references
From your Blogger dashboard:

2. In the Title field, type "VerseLink Test" (without quotes)
3. Copy and paste the following sample text into the main text box under the Compose tab: As a husband, it's easy to forget that God wants me to love my wife in a specific way. In Ephesians 5:25, Paul says that husbands should love their wives like Jesus loves us, sacrificially and selflessly. Love our wives like Jesus loves us? That's not easy, but the rewards are worth it.
4. Bottom: Click the [PREVIEW] button
5. Resulting preview page: Hover the cursor above Ephesians 5:25
6. Replace your template's contents with the backup you made
7. Save your repaired template
8. Test your site again
