Prayer 4: Afraid to Die
Jesus, we know that throughout the world, false religions and ideologies have been formed to fight against the fear of death. Because of the cross, You conquered death and offer freedom to those who are afraid to die. There are those who want truth and to walk in it but they’re afraid of what might happen if they choose You: cultural risks of rejection, isolation, physical harm, loss of job and family, even death. May their desire for You and truth be so strong that it compels them to set their fears aside and trust where You lead them, both now and forever.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
