Welcome to this devotional for kids!  Our ‘UP’ series is inspired by our ‘We Will Elevate’ DNA. We practice showing kindness to those around us and never leave anyone out. We value others the way God values us by being a good friend and listener, respecting our leaders and parents, and choosing to always see the good in others.

During this series, we want to truly grasp what it means to honor and elevate those around us, not just those who seem to be popular or the most important in our lives, but to remember that God wants us to ‘take delight in honoring each other’ that means everyone! 

Follow along as we truly grasp what it means to honor and elevate those around us!

Let’s think about all the things we have learned in this amazing series about how we can elevate others just like the friends did in this story!

ASK:

What has been the thing you have enjoyed the most about this series?

How have you become a better friend through what you have learned?

What things do you want to keep on doing to bring honor to those around you?

In this series, we have learned about being a good friend, honoring others, respecting our adults, being a good listener, and putting others' needs before our own.

So let's continue to keep lifting people up, showing them God's love, valuing people, showing them how precious they are, and always bringing them one step closer to Jesus!

REMEMBER:

Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honouring each other. (Romans 12:10)

SAY:

Jesus, you show us how to be kind, 

No greater love will we find. 

Your deep love gives us great value, 

Growing us as we learn more about you. 

Our friend, our saviour, our kind teacher, 

Helping us see the good in each other.
