ManifestHER Daily: Becoming Fully CommittedSample

One of my Masterclass students is now leading a small group at her church and was exercising when she received an idea prompted by the Holy Spirit. She wanted to share it with her group immediately but paused for a moment because she was sweating and didn’t want them to see her without her makeup and hair done. Despite that, she chose not to wait and posted the video right then—and there happened to be someone in the group who needed that word at that exact moment! 

Because she didn’t wait, God ended up getting the glory. We don’t know the how or the why, but when we follow God’s direction, despite how we think we “look,” it blesses everyone involved.

When you commit to the goals God has for you, He showcases His light through you to others. How you look becomes secondary to who needs to see His light. 

The more you dwell in God’s presence, the more what you “look” like becomes less important. God uses His strength to empower you to do His will. Even though everything won’t always be easy, He gives you ease while you walk into His will. You truly can accomplish all things through Christ who is strengthening you!

But…it all begins in His Presence.

James 4:8 says, “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” Beginning to dwell in God’s presence is just this simple. When you draw closer to God, you simultaneously are drawing away from distractions. Moving closer to God places your focus on Him. He then draws near to you. When God moves closer to you, His glory creates solutions in our lives—solutions of joy, of peace, of stability, and of security. 

We need this kind of relationship with God because the process of achieving the goals God has determined relies on walking close enough to God to hear Him. When you are close enough to hear and follow His Word, the key to provision in every area of your life is brought to you.

Who else needs this kind of relationship with God? Let’s take every possible moment today to glorify God, committing our goals to Him and relying on His strength, and let’s start by dwelling in His presence.
