I bless You for bringing together Boaz and Ruth to show the powerful value of a Guardian (Kinsman)-Redeemer, and to be a significant part of the earthly lineage of King David, and thus, Jesus. Thank You for deciding in the council of the Godhead before the beginning of time that mankind would need Him (one of our earthly “kin”) from the line of David, to know our earthly temptations and needs, and to give His perfect, sinless life to redeem us from our sins. I rejoice that Jesus, the Savior, the only qualified Guardian-Redeemer, completely loves us, paid the price for our redemption, takes us into His family, provides for us, protects us, and gives us eternal life. What a privilege to be joint-heirs with Him and abide in Him forever! All my hope is in Him. I pray these things in His redeeming name.
