Be Encouraged

DAY 5 OF 5

Is there any other word to assure us that we can bear the burdens of this world? Yes, there is because 1 Corinthians 10:13 says, “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man (things happen in life to us all): but God is faithful, who will not suffer (let) you to be tempted above that ye are able (beyond what you can bear); but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” Remember, as a child of God, everything you face is Father filtered!

God knows our strengths and our weaknesses; our potential and our problems; and our happiness and our hurts. And He will always be there to help. He’s just a prayer away. In 2 Corinthians 12:9 we read, “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” Literally, God wants you to exchange your weakness for His strength. Just ask and lean on Him. He doesn’t mind. He has got a big shoulder to lean on. And His shoulders are as broad as the universe. There is a final word and passage to share:

Hebrews 10:24, 25 says, “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” As we have read earlier, life has problems, but we still have God, and He still has us in His protective circle of love. We also have each other. So, don’t give up. Be encouraged! And let us encourage one another. We all need to be reminded that with the help of our Lord, we can make it through whatever we face!
