Principle #6 "There will be much more required of you."

Much more will be required of you. The more God entrusts you with, the more it will require you to steward well. Many desire to run million-dollar companies but fail to prepare for what that entails. The world glamorizes the boss life, where you take vacations, buy expensive things, and live a life of royalty. That lifestyle can be a reward, but it is not the full picture. It will require hard work to steward what the Lord has given you. With much gain comes much responsibility. Many times we focus more on what we will gain rather than on what the gains will require of us.

During your season of pruning (God prunes all of His leaders), the wait isn’t punishment. It is the time God uses to prepare you for what your next season will require of you. A kingdom leader is prepared by the Lord to do the good works He has called them to do. Leadership sometimes requires long nights, busy schedules, hours of analyzing decisions, and travel, just to name a few. If you haven’t prepared for that, it will make your journey as a leader harder and maybe even burdensome.

Start now preparing for what you have been praying for. If you are praying for abundance, prepare for abundance.

Kingdom leaders, much more will be required of you.
