Day 4: Praise the Lord!
“Yellow brings me joy!”
From sunflowers and smiley faces to waddling ducklings and iced lemonade, yellow things can make us want to wave our hands in the air and wiggle, wiggle, wiggle. When we’re praising God with joy, others will join the fun! Even when our day is not so joy-filled, we can think about God’s character by remembering what He’s done and thanking Him for all He has promised in the Bible. No matter what happens, we can sing songs of hope and trust God’s goodness, faithfulness, and love because we are His children. What a joy!
Activity:
Choose a few of your favorite praise and worship songs about God's goodness, faithfulness, and love. But wait! Before you start waving your hands in the air and dancing, you won’t want to miss out on an important part of praising God: Share with your family or friends some of the reasons God brings you joy. Then, put on the music and get your praise on! Better yet, invite others to join you in a praise party!
Pray:
Awesome God, being loved by You and loving You brings me so much joy! I want to praise You today and every day! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
