One reason Christ's followers do not share Jesus is that we feel powerless to do so. It’s the same reason you do not try to start your car if you know there’s no gas in the fuel tank. The good news is that Jesus left you the power to fulfil your missional life. The Holy Spirit who resides in you as a Christ follower fuels your missional life. You have the SAME not a lesser version of the Holy Spirit Christians had when the first century church started and exploded with growth. “As they prayed the earth shook beneath them, causing the building they were in to tremble. Each one of them was filled with the Holy Spirit, and they proclaimed the word of God with unrestrained boldness” (‭‭Acts‬ ‭4‬:‭31‬ ‭TPT).‬‬ You and I know Jesus because the first Christians let the Holy Spirit lead them with “unrestrained” boldness!
