Prayer 24: The Ministry of Reconciliation
Lord, Your mandate to make disciples of all nations is clear in Matthew 28:19. We were once Gentiles grafted into Your family, brought near by the blood of Jesus. Like Paul, I, too, am called an ambassador and have the priestly duty of proclaiming the gospel to all people. Jesus, my heart breaks for the three billion people who will not hear the good news without outside help because they live in places where there is little or no tolerance for Your name to be known. Help this great mandate become a priority in the worldwide Church. Help us not rest until Your reconciliation is a possibility for all nations!
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
