Day 4: Serving Others
Matthew 20:26-28 carries a profound message about the essence of finding genuine purpose in life. It teaches us that to discover true fulfillment, we should extend a helping hand and serve those around us.
In this part of the Bible, we also learn about Jesus, the ultimate role model for a servant-leader. Jesus didn't seek fame or power; instead, he dedicated himself to assisting and improving people's lives. He demonstrated that true leadership involves being a compassionate helper.
You see, we were made to follow in Jesus' footsteps and do good deeds for others. When we use our unique talents or offer our time and resources to serve, we're carrying out the very mission that Jesus exemplified. So, Matthew 20:26-28 reminds us that real purpose and fulfillment come from acts of kindness and service, echoing the profound impact of Jesus' own life.
