God knows what you need. We can sometimes worry ourselves into the ground with things that God sees as His responsibility. Instead of focusing on the things we have no control over, God wants us to look and rely on Him, especially when we can be disappointed with what the world offers. God wants us to take it one day at a time and invite Him into our problems, worries, and weaknesses. When we remember God is our source, we have nothing to fear. Having others around us to remind us of God’s promises can be a way to help us when we are overwhelmed by the things we can't control.
God, be my source for today. Help me to see the areas of my life where I haven't given you control. Bring peace to this storm. Amen.
