Knowing His Word is True and Alive Changes Everything

If the God of the Bible wants me to know Him, understand that His ways are different than mine, and that He wants to partner with me to experience a miracle, then His plans must be grander and greater than anything I've thought of!

When you know that God believes in you, it changes the way you feel about yourself and transforms the way you view your life. When you realize how much God believes in you, it will change the way you view your own potential. You will have hope for your future. Rather than thinking, “Oh, I could never do that,” or “That’s beyond my abilities,” or “My problem is too big even for God to help,” you realize that God Almighty lives within you. Because the Spirit of truth dwells within us, we can live beyond the limitations of our own natural talent, ability, IQ, or physical limitation.

Romans 8:11 says, “The Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in [us]” and “will also give life to [our] mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in [us]” (NIV). Do you grasp the significance of that? The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead and brought Him back to life is living within us. That same Spirit can raise us up and enable us to do whatever He has put within our hearts to do!

God’s Word is a living Word. It is a seed that holds His supernatural power to grow and reproduce and bear fruit within you. The same resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead can raise you up from any kind of attack of the world. Our God can break every chain, every bondage, every spirit of limitation or containment, every addiction, every emotional problem or stronghold, every sickness, every disease, and every form of oppression or attack that tries to hold you captive. The name of Jesus is above every other name, report, or force. We read in Daniel 11:32, “The people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.” The people who know their God—that’s you. Those of us who know our God and His promises will be strong and do world-shaking exploits! Those exploits will shake your own life and even the entire world. It’s time that God’s people live in the full and complete power of the resurrection.
