"Are You Listening?" I have never heard the audible voice of God, but I recognise His voice through spending time in His presence and His Word over the years. I can remember the time I heard Him speak to my heart so clearly that I was in no doubt, because it propelled me into a realm of response completely outside of my comfort zone. That was the moment the seed of Colour Conference was sown in my spirit and the beginning of a personal journey that took me far beyond my natural abilities and capacity and into the realm of faith and the supernatural. Had I any idea what lay ahead of me, I would probably have thought I’d gone crazy! I am convinced that God wants to do amazing and supernatural things in and through every one of His children. In Jeremiah 29:11 He declares, “I know the plans I have for you... plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” So why are so many Christians living defeated lives? How do we make sure those plans actually happen for us? You may be thinking, That’s easy for you, Bobbie, but why doesn’t God speak to me like He spoke to you? The thing is, God is speaking to you - all the time - so that’s not the question. The question is: Are you listening? God longs for His children to spend more time in His presence and in His Word; He wants you to learn to trust His character and recognise His voice. Just as He did with me, God is calling out for you to leave the shores of your safe and comfortable life and launch out into the depths of His love and His plans. It’s a new day and our generation desperately needs the Light within us. I believe it’s time to step beyond your fears and limitations and tune in to what God is saying - to you. You were born for this hour in history. Are you willing to launch out into all that He has promised and prepared for you?
