Spirit, Soul & Body Part 3Sample

Spirit, Soul & Body Part 3

DAY 2 OF 5

Reflection

Give God thanks for what He has done, and make notes on what the Holy Spirit has drawn to your attention in these portions of scripture.

Introspection

Realise again that salvation is yours through the saving work of Jesus. Perhaps there is an action or response to this truth that you need to take today, or maybe a recognition that you’ve carried in your mind a wrong idea around salvation and need to speak out your “Yes, I receive your saving work for me, Jesus.”

Whatever is your experience, it is futile to believe that attempting to have more faith or exercise more faith of your own will make you right with God and bring about a transformed life. It is the Father’s faith in Jesus to save us that is the initiation of our own faith.

Our measure of faith is found in the Father's timeless love - His grace - which he has poured into our hearts, awakening belief, awakening us to his faith, filling us, and compelling us to see our home in Him.

When did you last put faith on your lips?

When did you last say, “I am a new creation in Christ Jesus!”?

What holds you back?

Your Next Step

Set a 3-minute timer and in these three minutes, consider God's supernatural power being alive and personally at work in you.

Set another 3-minute timer and in these three minutes, write down as frankly and directly as you can your answers to the following:

- What does this mean to you?

- How does that affect how you think about your day ahead and God’s faith in you?

Once the timer rings, put your pen down and pray into what you’ve written as though you’re bringing your praise/thankfulness or request/petition to God.

Conclude by inviting him to draw out more of his faith through your life as he fills your heart.
