You Can Be Brave: Trusting God in the Unknown

DAY 1 OF 6

A Dance of Bravery

“You can be brave. I will teach you how. It is not bravery the way you think of bravery. It is not doing something you don't necessarily want to do. It is doing what you know is good to do even though it is hard.

"I will give you wisdom if you ask for it. I will teach you how to receive it—and with this wisdom, you will be brave. You will make choices that are good for you and for your relationships. You will step forward into new territories with Me, a land of abundance—not the abundance of the world but the abundance from what I give you: love and peace, joy and hope.

"You are never forgotten. You are never unaccounted for. I lead you into territory unknown and you will find it is good. You will find I am with you. You will turn to Me and watch My steps and learn the rhythms of listening and watching, waiting and going. And bravery will look like trust in Me. It will look like faith walking into new lands and receiving the bounty that I place there.

"Despite the dangers of this world, despite the hardships of this world, I will be with you in every encounter, and I will keep you as My own. I have found you and I am not losing you. So step forward now. Again. And again. And trust the rhythm of moving with Me. It is a dance you know. A dance of bravery. And celebration. And goodness. We step together.”

What is your first reaction? What is it that you—individually, personally—hear Him say?
