In our reading for today, Paul told us twice that God is rich, even describing His riches as "exceeding." But take note of what He is rich in: mercy and grace. It's good news for us that God is not only infinitely wealthy but also infinitely generous. You and I could never afford the price of salvation. It was paid for with the highest possible cost—Jesus' blood—and then freely gifted to us. Take time today to thank God for this most generous gift.
