God Said, Live!

DAY 2 OF 3

If You had been here...

When what God promised to us seems to be dead, we tend to get disappointed easily rather than to remain positive in faith, despite all the situations that we are facing.

At one point in time, I was in a situation where I felt totally lost and what God promised me seemed to be dead. Being disappointed by my own expectation, I drew away for quite a distance from God and nearly closed my heart for Him.

Again, God chased me down and He never let me go. That was when God reminded me about the parables of Lazarus.

I believe we are all familiar with that parable.

Now when Martha told Mary that Jesus was calling for her, she went to meet Jesus. When Mary met Jesus, she fell down at His feet and cried.

Maybe you are at the same situation like Martha & Mary. Maybe you have lost your dream, a family member, hope, job or something very dear to you...Maybe now you are waiting for Jesus to come but it seems like He has been ignoring you, hasn't He?

I want to encourage you today that He is not ignoring you, in fact He is very close to you at this very moment.

Let me show it to you in the parable, verse 35:

Jesus wept!

Whether it is a matter of empathy or not, people who are dearly close to you will often feel the burden that you are carrying and sometimes cry with you too.

God wants you to know that;

He is with you when you’re crying.

He is with you when you’re praying.

He is with you when you’re struggling.

He is with you when you've lost your loved ones.

He is with you when you've lost your job.

He is with you when you’re standing on your own.

He is with you when your problems or dreams are dead.

He is with you when your heart is broken.
