Beauty For Ashes

Life began to turn around for my good in 2012. I entered into such a great place in my life after forgiving my father and learning to cope with the loss of my mother. I was in love with God and most essentially, I was in love with myself. God was really working on me. He began to heal me from the inside out. Beyond any doubt, I had a real smile on my face. I had unspeakable joy and the peace of mind I had been longing for. God began to manage the pain I felt from losing my mother. 

Over time, I began to accept the occurrences that had transpired in my young life. In this process, God opened my eyes to reveal to me that those painful life experiences actually birthed my purpose. Before long, I would find the love of my life and have a beautiful family.  

I've learned that times of loss draw you closer to God. It's in the time of pain where he pushes you into your destiny. God has greater things in store for you. He is not done with you yet. God knows exactly what He is doing in your life. He's going to work everything out for your good.
