POWER POINT #3

The power of God's love heals. His promise to those who rebel is that he will rescue them from the grave when they cry out to Him.

Rebellion numbs hunger. Turning away from God and going against authority diverts cravings, sabotages contentment, and eliminates all peace. Our body becomes unable to heed natural cues for sustenance and we begin to breakdown physically, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and in every way. While confused and damaged, we wither and await death in desperation.

The Bible says that those who rebel are fools; yet, those who cry out to God in their trouble will be delivered from their distress! 

By God's great love, he speaks his word into our lives—with the same voice he used to create the heavens and the earth and every living being. His word is power; his word is healing; his word is restorative. Jesus is God's Word made flesh, and when we find ourselves insatiable we can turn to him and he rescues us from the grip of death and enables us to encounter joy once again!

PRAYER

Dear Lord, please forgive me for turning away from you. I am sick because of the way I've treated the people around me and how I have abused myself. God, I cry out to you in my rebellion and I ask you to speak your word of healing into my life. Rescue me from death! Today I declare that the enemy has no authority over me because I devote my life to you and I am covered by the blood of Jesus. Every evil thought must flee! God, fill me with your joy and give me fresh vision for my future. Thank you for your unfailing love. Amen.
