We can fall into the habit of focusing on the negatives of a tough season, but when we cultivate thankfulness despite our circumstances, it shifts our focus to Jesus. As believers of Jesus Christ, we can be confident because our joy, our faith, and our security is not tied to the things of this world, but tied to our gratitude and love for Jesus. Let’s stay thankful in this season!
Questions:
1. What are 3 things you can be thankful for today? How can you incorporate this practice of gratitude into your daily routine?
2. As Christians we are meant to be known by the peace that we carry. How can we be thankful and exemplify His peace to those around us?
3. How can we reach people with the message of Jesus, when encountering people who are experiencing true hardship and loss in this season? What does gratitude look like within community when the future looks uncertain?
