That Label Doesn't Fit You Anymore

DAY 5 OF 5

If you know you are worthy, you can be honest about your journey. Jesus has called you worthy, so you might as well live like it. You may mess up and you may make mistakes, but you are still worthy and on a journey. If God gave you that label, no one can take it away. What’s happening all around us doesn’t need to shake us or become a roadblock to our destiny. Let’s choose to label what we see in culture as it really is… a weapon formed that will not prosper. When there is a problem, look to God’s power first. Power of God first, problems second. The labels of fear, inadequacy, disqualification, and condemnation are labels that don’t fit you anymore. If God is for us, who can be against us.

Questions:

1. What is your first reaction when you encounter challenges, problems, and difficult situations? How would that response be different knowing that God’s power will help you to get through those seasons?

2. How can your story of overcoming hardship empower someone else? Do you offer hope from a position of victory to the people you do life alongside?

3. How can we help people on a global scale who are experiencing fear, hopelessness, anxiety, or loneliness? How can we be a part of offering solutions in a broken world?
