The Power To TreadSample

The Power To Tread

DAY 3 OF 3

Fear’s Isolation Attack.

You are not alone. Another tactic of the enemy is the weapon of isolation. The enemy wants you to think that you’re fighting this battle by yourself — you are not alone. In fact, the latter part of 1 Peter 5:7 KJV states, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” God cares for you. God wants you to cast your care because He continually cares for you. You are not burdensome to God — you are not a burden to Him. You are His own. You are His child.

The enemy wants you to believe that no one cares about your situation — know that God intimately and vehemently cares about you. God cares about your ideas, desires, hopes, dreams and future. He cares about you. Fear will isolate you and pervert your thinking into believing that your cares, concerns, desires and worries are too big for God. God is concerned, and He wants you to engage Him in every aspect of your life.

Fear is designed to get you to doubt what God has in store for you. Fear is perverted faith. “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 NLT. God has a greater plan for you. Have faith. Crush fear by speaking faith over your circumstance and declare God’s Word daily. Choose to create an atmosphere of faith by speaking and rehearsing God’s Word instead of engaging and focusing on the voice of fear.
