Your Heritage of Faith

DAY 8 OF 31

"Expect Favor and Success"

When you believe what the Word of God says about you—that you have been made righteous through Christ—you will expect to see every adversity turn into a victory. Only when you see yourself the way God sees you, will you begin to expect success.

As long as you view yourself according to your own merits, you will always have to deal with an element of self-doubt. You will question God’s desire to show His favor in your life. But you need to understand this truth: what you have done in the past and who you are has nothing to do with favor and success. This is good news, because without Jesus we are nothing.

God’s favor and God’s honor cannot be earned. You didn’t earn His favor, and you didn’t earn His honor. Jesus earned it for you at the cross. Although favor, honor, and success belong to you, it is still your responsibility to walk in these blessings by faith so that you can see them become reality in your life.

God sees you as righteous, above reproach, and worthy to be blessed with success. He delights to crown you with glory and honor. So believe who God’s Word says you are. See yourself as He sees you. That’s when you’ll expect every adversity to turn into a victory. That’s when you’ll see success.

Truth Confession

I have favor and success, not because of my works, but because I believe Jesus made me righteous and earned them for me.
