Identity - Obtaining Revelation From TruthSample

Identity - Obtaining Revelation From Truth

DAY 4 OF 9

God has a better life for each one of us. He’s already designed it. He wants us to live in the overflow of the spirit in us. But we can’t do it if we don’t know that we have a treasure living inside of us. God has deposited the greatest treasure inside of you! It’s the Holy Spirit – God’s very own Spirit. It’s the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead! The Spirit that lives in you has raising-from-the-dead power!

The important part is to know what you have, search it out, and to start. It’s about moving forward. It’s about attempting to know the truth. It’s about seeking God and obtaining truth by picking up your treasure map—the Bible.

“But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him (the Holy Spirit) to you [to be in close fellowship with you].” - John 16:7 (AMP)

Why is it better to have the Holy Spirit than Jesus with you? It’s better because you will always have a close friend. There is never a minute that you are truly alone. Not in truth. You might feel alone, but that is living out of the truth. That is living out of your feelings. The Holy Spirit is your counselor. Isn’t it better for when you need to have a conversation with someone just to vent and get stuff out of your chest? You have a full-time counselor available that isn’t 100 dollars an hour!

There is a better life. It is through living through the Holy Spirit. It is through knowing what you have. It’s through searching it out and finding out what’s available to you through the road map. Go through it as if you are doing a treasure hunt. There is a million dollars in your backyard and if you find it, would it change your life? That is the Holy Spirit living inside of you.
