Change Your Mind From Employee To EntrepreneurSample

Change Your Mind From Employee To Entrepreneur

DAY 3 OF 3

Trusting God is the key to mind-set change

The regularity of a paycheck is a major difference between being an entrepreneur and being an employee. As an employee, you are guaranteed a paycheck; as an entrepreneur, you are not. You may make a whole bunch of money one day, and nothing the next.

The key to mentally transitioning from being an employee to being an entrepreneur and to getting used to irregular paychecks is simple: you have to trust God.

Each day, you have to trust that God will provide for you. If you don’t trust Him, the transition will be almost impossible. But if you do trust Him, you are ready for the transition.

In Psalms 37:3-6, David instructs us to delight ourselves in God and trust God to bring our goals in life to pass. The Hebrew word for “delight” means to be susceptible to being led or directed. So if we are susceptible to being led, then it is easy for us to trust God.

Isaiah 48:17 shows us that if we are open to trusting God, He will teach us how to prosper His way and direct us into business dealings that will result in our prospering.

Trusting God is the key to mind-set change. If we trust God, if we follow His lead in our dealings, our success as entrepreneurs will be assured. Let’s trust God.
