Judgment Day sounds scary, but it doesn’t have to be. John says people of light and life know God’s love for them so well that they can actually look forward to Judgment Day with confidence. Not because they’re so great. Because they know what God has done for us. God is powerful. That makes him scary. But he doesn’t have to be. Because when you realize a powerful one loves you and fights for you, it drives away fear.
